What is NIROXTM?

NIROXTM 400 NIROXTM500 are concentrated ochre pigments with an average particle size of <1 micron and 6 Hegman grind. The particle size, iron oxide concentration and refractive index of 2.83 make it an excellent pigment for concrete products, plastics, coatings, paper and other applications where a buff color and good opacity are desired.  NIROXTM  products are lightfast, insoluble in water and non-reactive with solvents, oils and most resins.
 

How is NIROXTM Used?

NIROXTM products can be used as is to achieve a range of colors from brown to yellow-brown to buff simply by varying the product loading. They may also be used as the base for producing a broad range of earth tone colors ranging from red to dark brown and black to yellow.

NIROXTM products have proven to be a cost effective colorants in:
