RAD
BAN is a heavy aggregate designed for radiation shielding concrete
and all other heavy aggregate applications.
RAD BAN meets the requirements of ASTM Specification
C-33-86 (Standard Specifications for Concrete Aggregates) and ASTM Specification
C-637-84 (Aggregates for Radiation Shielding). Principle uses include hospital
construction or renovation, radiation therapy suites, university nuclear
research facilities, commercial nuclear power plants, nuclear waste containment
sites, military nuclear refueling facilities, counterweights for bridge
construction, off-shore pipeline stabilizer and heavy aggregate.

NRO-9000 is a controlled finished product from natural,
unbleached, ground barytes. This unique product provides high specific
gravity, low oil absorption, easy wettability, chemical inertness, low
abrasiveness and acid and alkali resistance. NRO-9000 is a barium sulfate
product in use in applications that include: friction materials, urethane
foams, paint and coatings, acoustical compounds, plastics and rubber, adhesives
and other formulations.
