It’s
the natural setting that makes a golf course so inviting. The green
grass on the fairways and tees. The sandy colors of the roughs and
hazards. The blue of the water and sky.
Shouldn’t your cart paths reflect
the natural beauty of your course? They can if your architect and contractor specify ochre pigments
from Riverside Path Solutions, a division of New Riverside Ochre
Company.
Ochre is a pure, natural iron
oxide. When added to concrete mix, ochre produces a non-reactive,
non-toxic, non-fading, permanent pigment in a range of colors. Ochre has
become the concrete pigment of choice for a number of nationally renowned
golf course architects and developers.
Ochre
is the most economical concrete colorant available on the market.
Ochre based blends repeatedly outperform synthetic blends because of their
economy, performance quality and versatility on small and large jobs alike.
In addition, concrete is the best and most economical
long term solution versus asphalt. The cumulative life-cycle costs of asphalt
can be as much as 52% higher than comparable concrete costs over a 30 year
period.
Ochre is a superior product.
Ochre is mined in Cartersville, Georgia, by our parent company,
New Riverside Ochre, the only full-time ochre mining and processing
operation in the U.S. Our processing and testing techniques and
facilities are constantly being improved. We are continuously researching
and developing new products with finer and stronger characteristics.
Riverside
Path Solutions' Ochre is processed and controlled within exact physical
and chemical parameters, using state-of-the-art color measuring
and monitoring equipment.
RPS
Ochre is easy for your contractor to use.
Our ochre blends easily and uniformly in both mortar and concrete.
Our packaged product comes in 25 lb. pulpable paper bags. Both the
ochre and the bag can be added in the ready-mix truck; the bag dissolves
resulting in no waste and a cleaner operation.
RPS
produces standard colors, and we can also produce additional colors based
upon the architect's custom specifications. We recommend that test
panels be produced duplicating actual site materials and conditions
whether by the customer or an on-site RPS engineer. This will assure
accurate color selection. We can also help your architect and contractor select the
best concrete supplier.
